Storage & Filing

Vertical Files

6 products available

A vertical filing cabinet stores documents front-to-back in deep drawers, with a small footprint that fits tight offices and records rooms — the classic filing cabinet. Brant Business Interiors supplies commercial-grade vertical filing cabinets for offices and institutions across Ontario, with delivery and professional installation included.

We carry Global Furniture Group vertical files, with the range including two- and four-drawer configurations in both letter and legal widths, lockable drawers, and a steel build suited to daily institutional use. Two-drawer files work as under-counter or desk-height storage; four-drawer files maximize capacity in a narrow footprint.

Need wider, lower storage instead? See our lateral files, or browse all storage and filing. A family-owned Canadian dealer since 1964, based in Peterborough, we help you match drawer count, paper size, and lock type to your records, and we quote most requests within one business day.

Eligible Ontario public-sector buyers can order through our OECM Supplier Partner agreement. Browse the range below, or request a quote.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between a vertical and a lateral filing cabinet?
A vertical file is deep and narrow, storing documents front-to-back — ideal for tight spaces — while a lateral file is wider and stores side-to-side for higher capacity per drawer. We carry both; tell us your space and we'll recommend.
Do you carry letter and legal sizes?
Yes. Our Global vertical files come in both letter and legal widths, in two- and four-drawer heights. Ask us to confirm the size and capacity on a specific model.
Are the drawers lockable?
Yes, our vertical files come with drawer locking to secure confidential records. Ask us to confirm the lock on a specific cabinet.
Do you deliver and install across Ontario?
Yes. We deliver vertical filing cabinets throughout Ontario, handled by our own crew.
Can Ontario public-sector buyers order through OECM?
Yes. We are registered under our parent legal entity, Brant Basics, as an authorized OECM Supplier Partner, so eligible broader-public-sector buyers in Ontario can order through their OECM agreement without an open tender.
